Project Description
This comprehensive lighting upgrade replaced over 800 traditional fixtures with explosion-proof LED flood lights across PetroChina’s petrochemical facility, covering processing units, storage areas, and terminals. The project deployed IP67-rated, ATEX/IECEx-certified luminaires with anti-corrosion housings designed to withstand chemical vapors, extreme temperatures, and harsh industrial conditions. Through strategic placement and intelligent control integration, the installation achieved optimal illumination levels while delivering 65% energy savings, extending fixture lifespan to 100,000+ hours, and significantly reducing maintenance costs. The completed project enhanced operational safety, improved security surveillance, and ensured full compliance with GB 50058 standards while supporting PetroChina’s sustainability goals.
