Project Description
In August 2019, our team delivered a turnkey solar street lighting solution for a rural township in Lagos, Nigeria, with the goal of enhancing road safety, nighttime visibility, and overall quality of life for the local community. The project involved the installation of 250 sets of 100W all-in-one solar street lights, tailored to meet the specific needs of rural infrastructure. Each lighting unit was equipped with LED chips, known for their superior brightness, high energy efficiency, and long operational lifespan. The system featured an integrated 110W mono-crystalline photovoltaic (PV) solar panel, ensuring efficient solar energy capture and reliable performance in off-grid settings. To optimize lighting coverage, the lights were mounted on 7-meter poles spaced 30 meters apart, providing consistent illumination across the roadways and minimizing dark spots. The all-in-one design simplified the installation process, reduced maintenance requirements, and ensured a sleek, compact appearance.
